Description

Rose coconut cooler is a cool and refreshing summer drink that has a mild rose flavor mixed with coconut water, lemon, mint, and drinking soda.  It is an energy saver drink that we can easily make at home in many occasions that you must try!

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons rose syrup
  • 1 cup chilled tender coconut water
  • 1215 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 lemons cut into small cubes
  • Salt to taste
  • Tender coconut flesh (malai) to garnish
  • Drinking soda as required

Instructions

  • Combine mint leaves, lemon cubes, and a little coconut water in a Boston shaker.
  • Muddle all the ingredients, add rose syrup, and remaining coconut water, and shake well. Rim individual glasses with salt and pour the prepared drink into them.
  • Cut coconut flesh into triangles, make a little slit on one side and fix one triangle on the rim of each glass.
  • Top the drink with soda and serve chilled.

Notes

  • To make Rose syrup at home: Boil 1/2 cup of water and cook a few rose petals (about 1/2 cup) and once soft just blend it with a few tablespoons of Sugar/Honey/Agave nectar. Rose syrup is a concentrated form of rose water.
