Are you ready for a refreshing drink?  Yes, Milkshakes or simple shake, a chilled drink that is usually made by blending milk, ice cream, and flavorings or sweeteners such as butterscotch, chocolate syrup, or fruit syrup into a thick, sweet and cold mixture.

Milkshakes are very quick, easy to make at home. They are usually low in calories and nourish our bodies and keep us away from various health issues. There are different -different kinds of shakes that include vitamins, minerals and proteins. Today I’m sharing a quick healthy berry milkshake recipe.

No matter which the season is, the two things I always have in my fridge that are berries and Ice cream. I love blueberries as well as blackberries equally. In this recipe, I thought that it would be great to make berry the main ingredient of this shake! I am making this shake with blueberry. You can use as per your choice either blackberries or raspberries. I made this recipe with ice cream, crushed strawberry, dried berries and milk.crushed ice. If you like to add the crushed ice that gives this homemade shake a fluffiness that I just love! The more higher the fat content of your milk, the thicker the milkshake.

Berry Milkshake

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon dried Berries
  • 1 tablespoon Strawberry Crush or strawberry jam
  • 4 tablespoon Milk (60 ml)
  • 4 large scoops Vanilla Ice Cream

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the ice cream, crushed strawberry, dried berries and milk.
  2. Blend everything smooth or until well blended for 20-25 seconds.
  3. To decorate a serving glass, at bottom pour some strawberry crush and then pour into the blended milkshake in it. On top sprinkle some chopped dried berries.
  4. Serve this refreshing drink to your loved ones.
