Before making it I would like to tell you the recipe title as “Cilantro French Fries” The word cilantro means the leaves of the coriander plant, used to add flavor to food and the French fries is long, thin pieces of potato that are fried and eaten hot. Homemade Cilantro French Fries are delicious and healthy. You can easily prepare this to serve in parties or get together. The best way to restaurant-quality French fries prepare at home keeping these two tips mentioned below.

Choose the right potatoes, Cut them lengthwise into 1/4-inch-thick wedges, then cut these wedges lengthwise into 1/4-inch-thick sticks, and fry them twice.

The first fry, at a lower temperature, softens and cook the potatoes, while the second fry browns them to crispy perfection.

Cilantro French Fries

Serves: Serve hot with your favorite sauce or ketchup.

Ingredients

  • 4 Large potatoes, peeled and cut into french fry length
  • 3 cup chopped fresh cilantro (Corriander-dhaniya)
  • Pepper and salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Tools Required - Tools Required
  • Paper towels

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil to 185 degrees C in a deep fryer.
  2. Now put 1/3rdof potatoes in the heated oil and continue frying for at least eight minutes.
  3. Now stir almost 1/3rdof cilantro and continue frying for another minute.
  4. Remove from oil and keep aside on paper towels.
  5. Gently remove excess coriander.
  6. Repeat the same procedure with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Season with pepper and salt.
