The cream gives the ice cream a rich and creamy taste, while the condensed milk is added for sweetness and smoothness. So, there is no need to add more sugar to it.

No ice cream machine is used to make this ice cream. You just required a good electric hand whisker or blender. This tastes so much better than from store-bought. I love to eat all flavors of ice creams, especially during summers. Vanilla ice cream is one of my favorite ice cream flavors. It is the easiest ice cream recipe ever!

Traditionally, ice cream is made by cooking custard with egg yolks, milk, and other ingredients, and then churning the custard to make ice cream.

This is a shortcut ice cream version that doesn’t require eggs or an ice cream machine. This vanilla ice cream is very creamy and there are no ice crystals in it.

Description

Vanilla ice cream is plain ice cream, easy to make, and the most loved ice cream recipe. It has a smooth, milky white and creamy consistency. Here, I am making this ice cream with only 3 ingredients. So, must try this Vanilla Ice – cream at your home that you will surely love it.

Ingredients

  • 250 grams fresh cream (chilled) 
  • 200 grams (½ cup) condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Instructions

  • Put the cream and a large mixing bowl into the refrigerator for 2 hours before making the ice cream.
  • Take out the chilled mixing bowl from the freezer and then add the chilled whipping cream.
  • Whisk the cream using an electric hand mixer for 8-10 minutes until the cream forms semi-thick consistency.
  • Next, add chilled sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract to it. Mix it well for 30 seconds using the blender.
  • Pour the mixture into an air-tight container.
  • Cover the container with cling film properly and then close the box.
  • Freeze it for 10-12 hours or until completely frozen.
  • After 12 hours, take it out from the freezer and remove the cover.
  • Ice cream is ready to serve.
  • Take it out in a serving bowl and serve it chilled.

Notes

  • Do not over whisk the cream else the butter will separate.
  • If you do not have an electric hand mixer, then blend the cream well in a blender. Once done, then you may add the rest of the ingredients.
  • You may add more condensed milk if needed.
  • Do not add too much vanilla essence as its flavor is too strong.
  • To set the ice cream, cover the air-tight container with cling wrap properly and then close the lid.
  • Additionally, you may sprinkle chocolate chips and chocolate syrup on top to get extra flavor.
