Banana Milkshake is one of the easiest recipes for kids and adults alike. This recipe of milkshake provides great amount of health benefits along with a delicious taste. It is a very simple recipe prepared with banana and milk.  The best time to have the Banana Milkshake is to have it along with your breakfast to have its maximum benefit to start your day. Enjoy it as dessert or party drink too.

Bananas being the most widely consumed fruit has many benefits. It is is rich in potassium, dietary fiber and energy. It may help to prevent asthma, cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes and digestive problems. The presence of potassium also reduces the risk of kidney stones. Combined with milk itself is high on a lot of nutrients like calcium which helps in maintaining bone density.


So basically this recipe of banana milkshake is an amazing drink for the kids to put on some nutrients in a delicious way which they would demand once they taste. Cardamom powder gives flavor the milkshake. A great way to drink up your fruits! This is a delicious milkshake to try if you don’t have a lot of time or ingredients!

Follow this milkshake recipe to make it easily.

Banana Milkshake

Serves: 2
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Level: Easy

Ingredients

  • 2 large Bananas
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 4 teaspoon Sugar to taste
  • A pinch of Cardamom Powder, optional
  • ½ cup Ice cubes (crushed)

Instructions

  1. Choose  a ripe bananas. Peel and cut it into slices
  2. Add sliced banana in the blender. Add 4 teaspoon sugar and half cup milk into it. Blend it about  few seconds until mixture turns into thick puree.
  3. Once it is done, add the remaining milk and crushed ice-cubes into the blender and and blend again.
  4. Banana milkshake is ready. Pour it into a serving glass and sprinkle a pinch cardamom powder and a small slice of banana over it.
  5. Serve chilled.

Tips-

  1. Add sugar amount as per your taste.
  2. You can use soya milk if dairy milk is not available.
  3. Avoid drinking the banana milkshake at night since that can be more fatty.
