Strawberry Nutella French Toast Rolls is an easy to make french snack recipe, this delicious snack can be prepare within minutes any day of the week. Like, I have rolled up with a spread of nutella and filled the chopped strawberries. Coating of sugar make them extra sweet and delicious. The main ingredients like bread, nutella and strawberries are good enough to make this yummy snack which will really become your new favorite snack. To me, this awesome and quick breakfast recipe is fun to enjoy with nutella and strawberries and if both not available then add fruits of your choice inside a bread slice and roll them accordingly. You may give it a variation with the ingredients available. These rolls can also prepare for kids lunch box and also to give surprise your family and friends.

Strawberry Nutella French Toast Rolls

- ½ punnet strawberries, diced or chopped small
- 4 ½ tablespoons nutella
- ¼ cup caster sugar
- 6 slice of fresh white sandwich bread, remove the edges
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoon full cream milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Whisk the egg in a shallow bowl or small pan.
- Take a slice of bread, using a rolling pin flatten out each piece of bread. This makes them easier to roll up.
- Spread generous amount (around ¾ tablespoon) nutella over it.
- Place a spoon full of chopped strawberries on one edge of each slice of bread. Gently roll up the bread and seal the ends tight to ensure the strawberries stays intact inside.
- Repeat this process for rest of the bread slices.
- The nutella will help to keep it sealed.
- Carefully dip the rolls into the egg mixture, shake off excess.
- Add butter in a pan over medium flame. Let it melt. Do not brown the butter
- Place each roll into the pan and shallow fry around 4 minutes until each side of bread turns golden brown.
- Spread sugar on to a plate.
- Remove these French toast rolls from the pan and immediately roll it to coat in sugar then remove.
- Repeat with the remaining rolls.
- Serve warm immediately.
Note- You can serve these French toast rolls fresh i.e. hot or warm. It will turn soggy if let to rest. It is always better to serve immediately! These are best eaten fresh. A great and healthy recipe for breakfast or even as dessert.
