- Add the tea bags. Leave the tea bags in water for 5-6 minutes as per your taste preference.

- Let the tea cool at room temperature and then refrigerate in the fridge until chilled (at least for an hour).

Notes
- It is very important to measure the water to prevent the tea from turning too strong and too watery.
- Make sure, you do not leave the tea bags in the water much longer than a minute; otherwise, you will get a bitter taste. Always set a timer for the steeping.
- If you prefer sweet tea, you can add the sugar or your preferred sweetener like honey, coconut sugar, or even maple syrup to sweeten your tea.
- Do not use tap water for this recipe. Always use filtered water to get the smoothest flavor. Tap water has lots of additives and minerals that can dull the taste.
- Allow the tea to cool down at room temperature before storing it in the fridge to chill.
- If you keep hot tea in the fridge, your iced tea can become cloudy.
- Additionally, you add to try this iced tea with different teas for example – try using green tea, or use a variety of herbal teas.
