Ingredients :
Homemade Badam Milk is very simple to make with a handful of ingredients
Use full cream milk for the best results but you can use low-fat milk as well. Though using full cream milk makes it thicker and creamier.
Almond is the main ingredient of this recipe. Use a lot of almonds in this milk, so that the almond flavor has become prominent. You can adjust the quantity as per your desire.
Sugar works as a sweetener to this drink. I use regular white sugar, but you can use any sweetener like honey, jaggery, or brown sugar that you like.
Cardamom and saffron strands both are key ingredients here. Saffron is added here to give a nice yellow color and cardamom makes it aromatic.
Serving Suggestions
It can be served either hot or cold. I only like the chilled version. Just put it into the refrigerator for 4 to 5 hours till it is chilled enough.
I know a lot of people like it hot, but personally I only like badam milk chilled.
For me, it makes the perfect treat on a hot summer day!
It tastes even better than the one you get in restaurants. Plus you can adjust the sweetness to taste when you make it at home.
