Cucumber mint cooler has a light, refreshing, and crisp flavour. The cucumber provides a subtle, slightly sweet taste, while the mint adds a refreshing and cooling note. The combination of these two ingredients creates a perfectly balanced and invigorating drink.

Health Benefits:

Hydration: Cucumbers are high in water content, making this cooler a fantastic hydrating drink during the hot summer months.

Nutrient-rich: Cucumbers are a good source of vitamins K, C, and B, as well as minerals like potassium and magnesium.

Digestive Aid: Mint has been traditionally used to soothe digestion and relieve indigestion or bloating.

Cooling and Refreshing: The combination of cucumber and mint provides a cooling sensation, making it a great choice to beat the summer heat.

Cucumbers contain silica, which is known to promote healthy skin, while mint has soothing properties that can help calm skin irritations.

Serving Suggestions :

Cucumber Mint Cooler can be served as a refreshing standalone beverage or alongside meals. Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint or a cucumber slice for an extra touch of elegance. You can also experiment by adding a splash of sparkling water or club soda to give it a fizzy twist.

You can garnish each glass with a sprig of mint, you can also add a few thin slices of cucumber to the drink for added visual appeal.

Serve the cucumber mint cooler in a clear glass pitcher to showcase its vibrant green colour and fresh ingredients. It will make a delightful centrepiece for your summer gatherings.

Cucumber mint cooler is particularly enjoyable during hot weather as it provides a cooling sensation. The combination of the hydrating properties, refreshing flavours, and chilled temperature makes it a perfect drink to beat the summer heat.

Remember to enjoy your cucumber mint cooler always chilled and experiment with the recipe to tailor it to your personal preferences. Whether you’re relaxing by the pool or hosting a summer party, this refreshing beverage is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Tips:

Use fresh and crisp cucumbers for the best flavour and texture.

Adjust the sweetness according to your taste. You can add more or less sweetener, or omit it altogether if the natural flavours are sufficient.

If you prefer a stronger mint flavour, add more mint leaves to the mixture.

For a twist, you can add a splash of lime juice or a small piece of ginger during the blending process.

To save time, prepare the cucumber-mint juice in advance and keep it refrigerated until you’re ready to serve.

Variations :

While the basic recipe includes cucumber, mint, lemon juice, water, and optional sweetener, you can get creative and add other ingredients to enhance the flavour. Some popular variations include:

Adding a small amount of fresh ginger for a hint of spiciness.

Incorporating a handful of fresh basil leaves or cilantro for added herbaceousness.

Infusing the water with a few slices of lemon or lime for a citrus twist.

Mixing in a splash of coconut water or pineapple juice to add a tropical touch.

So, enjoy your homemade Cucumber Mint Cooler and stay refreshed all summer long!

Description

This cucumber mint cooler is a refreshing, hydrating, and delicious summer drink flavoured made by combining cucumber, mint and lemon juice. To make this drink, all you need to do is some chopping, blending, straining, and mixing and it gets ready in under 10 minutes! That’s it.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium cucumbers
  • ½ cup mint leaves
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black salt
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon chaat masala (optional)
  • 2 freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 4–5 ice cubes or as required
  • Water as required

For Garnish

  • 1–2 mint leaves
  • 1 sliced cucumber
  • 1 sliced lemon ring

Instructions

  • First, cut the top and bottom sides of the cucumber.
  • Rub them in a circular motion to avoid the bitterness from it.
  • You will notice that the white juice is coming out and later you will come to know that bitterness is removed completely.
  • Now, nicely wash the cucumber and cut it into small pieces
  • In a blender, add cucumber pieces, mint leaves, sugar, black salt, chaat masala, salt, lemon juice, ice cube and water. Blend it well until smooth.

For Serving

  • You can serve directly by pouring into a glass or using a strainer, strain the mixture through the strainer to get a smooth texture.
  • Add one or two thin slices of cucumber, mint leaves, sliced lemon ring and 3-4 ice cubes to each glass.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Instead of using mint leaves, you can use basil or rosemary leaves or both.
  • To make this drink savory, replace sugar with salt.
  • You can replace regular water with coconut water to make a healthier drink.
  • You can also use sparkling water or club soda instead of water.
  • If you are planning to make this cooler for a party, prepare the cucumber and mint leaves mixture in advance and keep it in the fridge. Add lime juice, black salt, water, and ice cubes just before serving.
  • This recipe can easily double or triple,  if you plan to make it in a large amount.
  • Additionally, you can add a little piece of ginger while blending; it gives a nice flavour to the cooler.

  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
