Ingredients
To make a strawberry milkshake, you will need the following ingredients:
Fresh Strawberries: Choose fresh, red, and ripe strawberries.
Milk: Here, I have used full fat boiled, cooled and chilled milk. For vegan option you can use almond milk too.
Sugar: You can adjust the amount of sugar depending on the sweetness of the fruit. You can even skip it if you are adding more ice cream.
Heavy Cream – I added a little bit of heavy cream for a creamier/thicker milkshake. You can skip if desired and substitute with Ice cream.
For garnishing – I have used fresh strawberries and topped over the milkshake.
Serving and storage
You can serve this right after blending it. The consistency will be thick yet pourable. If you have leftovers you can stick them in the freezer for up to one week. The milkshake will freeze solid. Allow it to sit at room temperature to soften, stirring it a few times.
Variations
While a simple strawberry milkshake is always perfect, if you’re feeling adventurous, you can try one of the following variations:
Use strawberry ice cream instead of vanilla for a double strawberry milkshake.
Drizzle the inside of the glasses with chocolate syrup or hot fudge.
Add 2-4 Oreos to make Oreo strawberry milkshake.
Mix in other fruits such as peach and banana.
So, here I’m with my recipe of Strawberry Milk that is creamy and incredibly delicious without adding any ice cream or essence.
