When we hear the word Chaat, our mouth starts watering. The specialty of Gujarati dish like Aloo and Chana Chaat is a simple snack that you can prepare for your family and friends at any time, on any occasion. It can be had as a starter or as evening snack.
If you have some boiled chana left over than it is very easy to make this, usually when I make chana palak then I always boil extra chana and keep it in the fridge. You can also take it as a salad by mixing carrots and beetroots to the chaat. Adding green chutney, tamarind chutney to the chaat makes the chaat taste even more spicy but I am telling you to make potato chana chaat without chutney, I have used lemon juice and chaat masala in this recipe so that this potato chana chaat seems like awesome, if you want its taste to be sour, sweet and spicy then you can put green chutney and tamarind chutney in it. Whenever you make green chutney, try to consume it for a day or two, whereas tamarind chutney keeps well for some weeks. If you have some time to make these chatneys, than you can mix into this chaat to make more flavorful. This chaat can be served at room temperature or chilled. If serving chilled than add the crushed papdis and sev while serving.
So serve this healthy and super delicious chaat recipe to your loved ones on occasions like kitty party, game night and even picnic.
